Meh.Human development at it’s very core,is through memories.

It makes sense for her to return back to her older self if she has lost those memories or even getting back into her affair with Allen.

She is a half succubus while allen is one of the most beautiful person(in body atleast) around her.If there is no tanaka in her memory,it makes sense for her to go back.(Though yeah,he probably was cheating on her a few months back too so this version of Ester would DEFINITELY be much more weaker and subservient if she gets back together with Allen so I don’t mind you rejecting her)

Personally,I don’t really reject her.Also,I don’t think she is necessarily the poster girl.That’s just dependent on how author wants to proceed.

Regardless of how the reader may feel,it has happened enough times that characters of her level have died/moved on to other things.

Also also,I don’t really see the poetic justice.It would just be unfortunate(from tanaka loving Ester’s POV) and fortunate(from new ester and Allen’s POV)

And the author can make it even more cruel by making her remember back her past after something like conceiving a child.
