It’s sad that Tanaka will never understand that he is loved because of his life’s experiences and being told and shown that he was ugly. He stamped that label to himself and associates it as his being. He thus is too dense to see any form of affection that isnt literal like with Ester who literally said provocative things. Edita’s love will always be a untold hint that he may figure out in the future. I wonder how the women will react especially Sophia after Tanaka finally makes and uses his youth potion. According to him he was always ugly so will he be slightly less ugly? The same amount of ugly? Or some fucking how, and dare I say handsome? There is so much to wait and anticipate.
