Would sort of explain why she doesn’t want to be called “sensei” if it turns out that she really is an old sensei but wants people to look at her with perverted eyes and think of her only as a loli. Because it wasn’t his house. He bought the house from somebkdy that didn’t own it, it is the same as buying stolen goods… You don’t actually own the stolen goods do you. However since Edits is a novel and never actually died, all those taxes were demanded on a false premise.
