Basically he’s creating a pillar of Earth that he uses to launch himself forward. He’s using these to run forward at an accelerated rate.

Sadly the author described it in very few words, but that’s what I took it as.

反壁 that’s what it’s called in the raw.
壁 definitely means wall. And 反 has a lot of meanings, but when it’s by itself there’s only one and that’s anti as far as I know.
